A great place to stay for our diving trip

Beach view from the room, atmosphere by the pools and at the restaurant, happy helpful staff, overall a really great place and surely one of the nicest, if not the nicest, on the island, with reasonable pricing compared to other places. Food and drinks (breakfast okay, and dinner really good) were also really good.

Room could have been a bit cleaner, but was standard for Thailand. Some handywork could be better (e.g. the balcony doors don’t close properly). But this is complaining on a high level. We stayed nearly 3 weeks and were very happy.

Amazing

The hotel is located on the most amazing place, with a wonderful beach. I love the hotel. It is not very central, so you have to rent a scooter or go by taxi. We rented a scooter and it worked perfectly. I would definitely come back.

Disappointed. Not again.

Hotel located On the beach is only thing good.

We got the room that isn’t sea view as we booked and same as photos.. and in real hotel doesn’t look like a 5 stars as they seems. Also, we waited 15 minutes by the bar by the pool and no stuffs come around. Not enough stuffs to take care of guests. It’s like we booked the room. Not for service or anything else. Disappointed.

Nice resort with dirty sea water

We stayed in the room with a stunning view over the sea and jungles. The property has a very nice pool area and offers different activities like SAP and kayaking for free. The breakfast was amazing - wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Great coffee!

The property looks stylish yet needs repair. The room looks a bit used and tired. It is possible to swim in the sea only until 11 am, after 11 am water gets very dirty.

Amazing remote hotel in a breathtaking location

The direct access to Shark Bay is simply amazing. There are three great pools and the area offers a lot of space to chill and enjoy yourself.

The rooms were a bit basic, but clean and totally fine for our three night stay. The rooms are not as much four star standard as the rest of the property but the views are amazing!

The staff, private beach, value for money, the quiet of the whole place, the room and the facilities.

Breakfast was basic and prices at the restaurant was a bit high.

Will come back for snorkeling again

A very decent hotel with helpful staff. Room size is ok. Sea view from the balcony. Very quiet at night. Nice breakfast. If you like snorkeling, there are turtles and lots of fish at the bay. They have snorkeling masks for rent but no fins. They provide a free shuttle to - from the pier.

The room I stayed in was a little bit worn down. The outlets were not in a good condition. There were some color stains in the bathroom walls. No cotton swabs provided.

Amazing location and so much potential for this average hotel.

Amazing location, the private beach and the pools are exceptional. It is worth depending on renting a bike or the hotel shuttle as none of the other hotels closer to the pier are any good compared to this one.

We might have been unlucky but when we got there the first day our room was not clean so we had to request them to move us to another room. Also, the WCs smelled horribly during the mornings and there were several power cuts at night. The rooms and other facilities are generally a but run down. The hotel needs a serious refit to match the exceptional location in which is placed. Breakfast was average at best.

Beautiful secluded beach front hotel and beach club

The beach is private hotel property. Visitors from outside have to pay to enter. So it's more secluded and probably safer than public beaches on Koh Tao. The hotel staff are very attentive and will bend over backward to help you. The pool is mall but has a great view of the beach, and was never very crowded. The restaurant was good, especially the grilled seafood buffet on Fridays.

As the hotel is secluded, you'll need to take a taxi or scooter to get to it, and also to get back to popular areas like Sairee beach. It's a pretty bumpy ride as well. We got used to it but for some less adventurous travelers, you may not like this. Also, some rooms are up the hill and very difficult to access unless you are very fit or a child. There are no elevators. We put the children in the room up the hill and we took a room closer to the beach front which was easier to access. The villas didn't seem to have this problem. The hotel staff were sometimes not able to accommodate our requests due to hotel policy, which we thought was not their fault but of the hotel management. Just keep in mind that while the service is great, sometimes you won't get what you want due to hotel policy.

Amazing location but need to fix the little things.

Love the location and access to the amazing beach.

The pool needs more attention to cleaning as the 5 days I was there is was milky and really warm. The staff at reception need more training.

Our stay

Staff were very welcoming, property absolutely stunning, I will miss the view from our pool and room. The ambience was top notch. Also a staff member Zay needs a special mention, he truly knows how to engage with guests and made our stay that little more special.

Upon check in they told us there was a issue with our credit card when they tried to take the money, as it turned out we already paid, I had to show them my banking details to prove this, this also happened to our fiends who we were travelling with, they need to check all of this and ensure this does not happen, as this was quite a stressfull and a embarrassing experience. A more frequent free shuttle especially later in the day would be great, many quests complained about this.
